Master of Divinity
3 Years · 90 Credits · Pastoral Ministry
A three-year graduate degree integrating rigorous academic training with a paid church internship — preparing men for a lifetime of pastoral ministry.

Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling

Submit Your Application
Apply online through the FBS admissions portal. Include your personal statement of calling, ministry goals, and two character references. A $50 non-refundable application fee is required.
Interview & Evaluation
Qualified applicants will be invited for an interview with the FBS admissions committee. You'll be evaluated on academic background, character, and ministry calling.

Admission Requirements
General Requirements (Both Programs)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Active participation in a local church
- Two character references (one from a pastor)
- Personal statement of calling and ministry goals
- Interview with FBS admissions committee
- $50 non-refundable application fee
Students without a bachelor's degree may still be considered on a case-by-case basis.
M.Div. Specific
Demonstrated calling to pastoral ministry. Distance students must have reliable internet for live-class participation.
M.A.B.C. Specific
Minimum 2.5 undergraduate GPA. Open to both men and women. Clear calling to counseling ministry.

FBS may accept transfer credits from other accredited institutions on a case-by-case basis. All transfer credits must be evaluated and approved by the registrar prior to enrollment. Credits are assessed based on course content, level, and institutional accreditation.
Transfer Credit Requirements
- Must be very similar in content to FBS course
- Must be graduate-level (not undergraduate)
- Credit hours must be equal or greater
- Maximum 40% of program via transfer credits
Advanced Standing
Greek and Hebrew language proficiency testing is available. CCEF coursework may be eligible (see separate policy).

Withdrawal refund percentages are based on the week of the course in which the student formally withdraws.
